The initial design so far. My brother actually gave me the idea after for the saying after I was thinking of something else regarding the OSU program. Not sure on the back so far... may be better blank. Either way this is the initial design for this "I'll trade you this t-shirt for a new...tattoo™."

Just a few answers to some questions I have recieved...
Thanks to all those fans from various sites and from word-of-mouth. In one of these blogs or on the future website, I will provide thankyous and links to all those sites that have generated leads to my blog here. But I wanted to just quickly send a message out to some questions.
-I am currently working on having the stanzi city shirt available in some youth sizes(print wont fit on all the smaller sizes).
-I am currently working on adding long sleeve red stanzi city shirts as well. Possibly the white shirt as well.
-People may be having trouble with google checkout or unsure what it is. Its similar to paypal. I thought it was quite simple to use but you may have trouble accessing it from some phones. I recommend using a home computer.
-I am currently working on trying to have a website up soon with a better and easier checkout as well. But this takes time.
-Some shirts ship as soon as you buy them, others may take days or longer because we are out of the size or had issues. The white shirts had some issues at first and will be arriving to you soon. I get them out as fast as possible once the production is in. if you questions, I try to respond quickly as well.
-Other shirts I have posted will be available soon. I am working on many aspects currently to get them available for sale as soon as possible. These items at this time are or should not be available anywhere but thru me. In the future, I have been in contact to have some stores/bars carry some of the shirts but at this time, this is the only place to buy the stanzi city shirt or any other shirt that ive created when it becomes available.
-The Bo Don't Know Iowa shirt has already garnered many emails on its availability... It has not been produced yet but eventually will be. This shirt probably will be a limited time production/shirt. So any interest in this shirt, please email me and I can contact you when it becomes available.
-If you prefer to have an invoice sent to you or pay over the phone, please email me at nlauge@sprint.blackberry.net and I can do those things as well. I'm not always available but will do my best to get back to you as soon as possible.
-I will be creating future shirts, probably for other things as well. I'll be updating as I go on the blog for now until a site is up and going and than I will probably still continue to use this blog.
-Please also follow me on twitter @nickauge and you can also send messages there as well.
-I appreciate the Stanzi City following that has been created and I enjoy seeing the pics people send, please feel free to email me those as well.
Again, hope I answered some questions, please contact me for any questions, comments, or requests.
thanks again
Nick

My next t-shirt mission... We Got Coke...r Iowa shirt
This is just a rough copy with the saying I'm using for my next shirt. I'm currently working on the design as of now but kind of will depic the whole adam robinson to marcus coker Iowa story with the phrase "Who Needs Weed...We got (have) Coke...r"™ . Probably a Go Hawks or something on the back...
Still working on the layout and back will probably read Go Hawks. Hope to have finished design done asap.
Any thoughts on this one from anyone?

Stanzi City Chiefs ERA begins tonight at Arrowhead
Tonights Preseason game kicks off Stanzi City Chiefs at Arrowhead. Just want to say Good Luck to the Kansas City chiefs and Ricky Stanzi and all of the Stanzi City fans out there. Also, good luck to one player on the opposite side at least in Adrian Clayborn. I guess I root for Josh Freeman as well, as he grew up in the KC Metro area. But tonight, I hope to see Mr. USA himself do very well. Good Luck to Mr. Stanzi and the Kansas and Stanzi City Chiefs.

Stanzi City Chiefs Shirt
Thanks to all for the positive comments on the shirt. Maybe I could get a call from the Chiefs Marketing Department, doubt it.
Anyways, the picture is a live front photo shot of the front, and the back says "Love It or Leave It". It turned out great, happy with it.
I'll be wearing it live tonight at the Chiefs Practice. Hope to hear someone yell, "Touchdown Stanzi City Chiefs".
Don't forget that you can win one of these shirts in one of my previous posts.
Also thanks to all the posts, retweets, people that have came and looked, a special shout-out to BlackHeartGoldPants.com for the numerous people flowing from their site to the blog to check the shirt out. Thanks again to all!

Black(and Gold) Friday!
The biggest shopping day in the United States which is usually named "Black Friday." This event now becomes the biggest football day of the year for Nebraska and Iowa fans. As an Iowa fan, I have decided to rename this day to "Black and Gold Friday!"
Similar teams with similar colors will also be a key matchup that Sunday when the Pittsburgh Steelers take on the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead stadium in Kansas City.
Make it a double feature that weekend, leave the shopping for someone else and watch the games in Lincoln and Kansas City as these two battles will be highlights of the football season schedule that weekend.

Haters of Ricky Stanzi for being American
So I saw this twitter post bythepintPaul A. Ner
which was posted about 11 hours ago.
Than I went to the Pitch.com and read his link. Seriously, could you have came up with better?
Yes, I'm a Hawkeye fan, a Stanzi fan, a Chiefs fan, a football fan, but most of all I'm proud to be American and live in the United States. I don't hate other countries, don't dislike people from other countries but I too love the fact that I live in the United States of America. Are there problems in the U.S., yes there are but isn't there problems everywhere? Commercials of exotic get-a-ways paint you the picture of some beatiful sites, but like all things, it has its bad points as well. Though I think other countries have very nice museums, history, etc. I don't have the desire to travel there as well. There's plenty of places in the United States that I would love to visit first. I make my money in the United States, I might as well spend it here. Does it make me a person foolish for loving their country?
But here's my follow up just below to both of these comments(some others are out there too) and if you feel the same, let them know on twitter or by posting a comment on the pitch.com link above in the article. If you agree with them, than leave it for me. I'm a big boy, I can handle it. But I'm also a proud American just like you should be from where you are if you feel that way, and you shouldn't bash someone for showing respect to the country they live in or love.
So here's my follow up to those haters of Ricky Stanzi for being American...
Stanzi is proud to be American, I am as well. Doesn't mean you should bash someone for loving the country that they live and work in. Maybe your upset that team lost to a team Stanzi played on. A game is a game but for one that respects his country on and off the field, doesn't deserve disrespect back. Instead of hating or bashing someone who loves their country, maybe you should support your own country more. Do you cheer for other teams to beat your country in the Olympic games? If so, your foolish. The Olympics are built on being supportive of your country. People compete for their countries as a sense of pride and accomplishment. They don't go to lose, they go to represent to the best they can their country. That's why the wear the colors of their country. Are they foolish too?
Your country tries to help support you(yes, times are tough but they do whether you realize it or not), but you laugh and "shun" those who defend and appreciate America, the country at least one of you who wrote these comments is working in. Your entitled to your freedom of speech, but remember the country that gave you that right and that many people are passionate about. But sorry to those who feel the need to hate or bash or whatever you so-choose to call it, but you are foolish for not supporting those who show patriotism. If you don't like Stanzi as a football player, fine... but don't hate a young man for loving and being American. I don't hate you for being American, I dislike your comments for going against someone who loves the country I live in. I'd feel the same if I was born in any other country. I'm a proud American, but I'm prouder for those who love it and defend it even more. I would say it like Stanzi did #loveitorleaveit but I think first you need to #learnitandloveit.

What do you think of my designed Ricky Stanzi Shirt?
Shirt is for sale now... on another blogpost of mine. thanks
Follow me on twitter #nickauge
So here's my design for my new Stanzi City Chiefs shirt. It's for personal use but as a fan of Ricky Stanzi, I think it will look great. Any thoughts out there on the design? Maybe I should do a contest and give a few away? Any contest ideas on this one? Predict his yard in a pre-season game? Who know's... leave your thoughts and I'll come up with something.

First Night Practice of 2011 For KC Chiefs Camp
1st Chiefs Night Practice of 2011 |
Luckily for many of us, it wasn't 107 degrees out. For some families, they may have turned out as many homes in St. Joseph lost power today due to a substation catching on fire.
The practice was decent but the Chiefs still have a long ways to go before they begin their quest to defend the AFC West. Some guys look great, the rookies are a little rusty, but tomorrow begins a new chapter as many other players get their 1st chance to practice along side the other 60+ who have already taken the field.
But todays been a long day, tomorrow begins a new chapter but Ive already got a story Im working on and as many have asked about the former Hawkeye, #13 Ricky Stanzi, you'll just have to wait til' tomorrow evening as my story will be on Mr. Stanzi. So I leave you with #loveitorleaveit!

Update on Justin Combs Football Recruit, P.Diddy's son
For those interested in seeing a video on Justin Combs on the football field, I'm providing the link below from youtube. This is Sean P. Diddy Comb's son. Read an earlier blog post about him being recruited by Division 1 schools. Looks like he's still got some work to do, but could be a good recruit in the end.

Thoughts on 2012 Kansas City Royals All-Star Game Logo
Courtesy of Major League Baseball |
The logo says "Kansas City Royals" when you look at it. The crown on top along with the Royal's Blue colors is a perfect setting for the 2012 All-Star game.
The 2012 All-Star game will turn out to be successful in most areas but the question probably remains, would have it been better if it was at a downtown park in Kansas City?
The travel to Kauffman Stadium to downtown(I assume they will have most activities in the downtown) wont be an easy trip for anyone trying to catch the at the park activties along with the All-Star event and festivities of the week. I'm sure we will all wait to see what will happen and take place. I love the the stadium as it is now, its a beautiful park, but do I wish it was downtown at certain times? Yes I do. There's not much to do at the stadium where it is now after the game, where if it was downtown, you can stroll along and find something to do if you so choose.
I guess this is the perfect opportunity for Kansas City to show off their town but most of all, to show off why they chose to keep a stadium where it was instead of building something new, something downtown. Here's the opportunity for the city leaders as well as the Royals organization, I hope they make the most of it. I'll enjoy it either way most likely, but like many, I'll probably wonder... what if???

Sean "P.Diddy" Combs Son, Justin, a Possible Iowa Hawkeye?
Here's a link to recruit Justin Combs, the son of famous hip-hop star P.Diddy.
http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/Zook-Illini-offer-P-Diddys-son-a-scholarship.html
Can you imagine a Hawkeye game at Kinnick stadium with Tom Arnold, Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore, and now possibly P.Diddy all in attendance?
It actually seems like this kid actually might be a really good player as Illinois has already offered a scholarship and has done well against some good receivers in high school. In the article, it says that the Hawkeyes as well as the Cyclones and others are also interested in him.
But here's a thought, Iowa's making strides at becoming more and more recognizable by the national media for their recent years of continous success. But they still are not at the top and haven't been able to bring in top 5 star recruits when up against many other top programs. Obviously, Ferentz and his staff have done more than most by getting the most out of their 2,3, and 4 star athletes. Sometimes things haven't worked, but they have created some top level talent from kids that others didn't think too highly of. Bringing in a kid like Combs could be a scholarship that might be worth it on a public relations point. Can you imagine the possiblitiy of P.Diddy or other music stars, producers, others wearing Hawkeye gear(hats, shirts, etc.)?
This may be one scholarship that has value even if he somewhat fails. It could produce more free advertising than any other recruits could during their stay at a university or college. Could there also be issues or failures? I'm aware there could be. I guess it's something Iowa and other schools will have to decide.
Just a quick thought, can you imagine an in-home visit between Ferentz and P.Diddy discussing Justin Combs? It would be great if that could be shown on the Big-Ten network? I'm suprised P.Diddy hasn't discussed a show with MTV yet on featuring a show called "Recruiting Justin Combs". It may be a violation but hip-hop may not be my thing, but I'm sure I would tune-in to watch if he Justin choose the Black and Gold cap at the end.
